Month: June 2017

This week was a really action packed kinda week. I mean not a ton of action really went down but we did a lot of cool things. It kicked off with the temple on Wendesday morning. That was a much needed visit. It had been quite a while since we had gone.  It’s only a 30 minute cab ride to the temple so that is nice. On Thursday we had multi-zone conference, then this weekend we had stake conference and interviews with President. So it was a great week.

I’m really loving this area. The work is steady. My companion is super cool. So im happy.  The only down side is that there’s rats in our house…  we live just down from big trash piles so there are a lot of rats in the neighborhood.  We live 6 in the same house. So that kinda sucks. but the house is always super clean.  I’m actually getting pretty good and killin rats. I’m on a 5 kill killing spree with these rats.

We had 4 people in church this week so that was a cool experience. 🙂

Well this week was a great one. I like my new sector. We have tons of people to teach and we could break a mission record if we work really hard. I’m hoping the Lord helps us haha. But anyways the people here are either super humble, or they are crack heads… hahaha great combo!

Anyways my companion is a backpacker from Texas. He’s been to 23 different countries.  He’s 25.. a great guy.  He makes me laugh because he sounds like kronk from emperors new groove. But anyways, I don’t know what to write. I hope dad had a good fathers day. I was sure thinking about ya. Love you all

The unexpected happened and I got transferred. I really thought I was going to stay in Portoviejo for another 6 weeks but guess not. Thats okay because I’m now in Pascuales. The most productive zone in the mission. My sector is known to baptized in bunches so I’m pretty excited to be here.

My comp is a white dude. His name is Elder Remson. He’s from Texas. Really cool guy, he is a convert of 2 years and he’s 25 years old. So he is smart. He finished college and has a degree in Finance.

But this week we had tons of people in church. And the majority are families. So I should be baptizing a lot here.

Pascuales is super dangerous so I imagine I won’t be taking my camera with me much in the streets hahaha… sorry momma :/

But anyways I love you all. hope all is well. I’m doin great. Happy early anniverary mom and dad! hope y’all enjoy it! 🙂

This week was really good. We are really being blessed with people to teach here in Portoviejo. The members always end up finding us lots of people to teach. Every week at least 2 new people appear in church. Its great.

But today we went to one of the national parks here in Ecuador called Jaboncillo. it was really cool. It is on the top of one of the mountains here in Portoviejo. So you can see everything from the top. I took like 100 pics so its impossible to send them all. But I Took a ton.

I Got my package this week! So that was super nice! thanks mama! I love you!

I have seen tons of people that were in my ward in Manta so its nice to catch up with them.

We are going to have 2 baptisms this week! So that’s cool. I’ll have to save the stories about Carlos Cherry for after the mission because there isn’t enough time to tell it all.
